Giving Tuesday 2020
A Global Generosity Movement | December 1st
Giving Tuesday was created as a philanthropic response to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In a time of shopping and sales, our "give back" mentality tends to get pushed to the side. This is a day that encourages people to do good.
Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
Why Participate?
Last year, nonprofits from more than 150 countries participated to raise an impressive $400 million through 3.6 million individual gifts. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help.
Every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.
Our #GivingTuesday is focused around helping patients and families when they need it most.
How our Compass Cares program gives back:
2020 has been hard on everyone. More than anything, we want remind you to continue doing more good. Let's all do our part and help make a difference in whatever way we can.
Forward this along to remind your team, friends, and colleagues that even the smallest acts of kindness make a difference.
